Dr Anoop Ramgolam

We are pleased to announce Dr Anoop Ramgolam is joining the Helena Estate Medical team. Dr Ramgolam graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Western Australia in 2020. He has since worked in various specialities across multiple hospitals in Western Australia and currently specialising in General Practice.

After studying Biomedical engineering in France (Lyon) and obtaining a PhD, he moved to Australia in 2012 and worked as a researcher with Telethon Kids Institute and Perth Children’s hospital. He has published numerous international research articles. Last year, he successfully completed a clinical foundation degree in palliative care medicine with the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2025 while working with Silverchain Palliative Care.

His professional interest includes general medicine, children’s health, geriatrics, stroke, rehabilitation medicine, pain management and palliative care.

He speaks French, Creole (Mauritian) and English fluently and dabbles in Hindi. Outside of work, with the help of his wife, he has another full-time job building memories with his two young daughters.
